Relaunch of the customer area of the WM LEIPORTAL

Since 17 July 2023, the WM LEIPORTAL offers a redesigned customer area. Following the relaunch last year, the ordering process and the protected area for customers have now also been optimised.

 

The Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) ensures transparency and thus also stability in the financial market. The WM LEIPORTAL, one of the leading allocation agencies worldwide, will offer its users an improved customer experience in the future: As part of the further development of the customer area, not only has the ordering process been streamlined and reduced to a few simple steps. Other practical features have also been added: on a clear dashboard, customers can see all the information they need regarding their LEIs directly after logging in. They can allocate „tags“ and thus sort their LEIs accordingly – an enormous relief for companies or asset managers who manage several LEIs in one account. In addition, the LEIs are no longer only accessible via one account. Companies now have the option of creating multiple accounts, which not only makes administration easier, but also allows teams to work more efficiently and flexibly.

 

The WM LEIPORTAL has been officially accredited by GLEIF as an international allocation agency for the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI – ISO 17442) in 169 countries since 2014 and has been actively involved in LEI allocation since 2013. It is part of WM Datenservice, the leading information service provider, for a variety of financial market identification numbers. This includes, among others, the allocation of the German Securities Identification Number (WKN), the International Security Identification Number (ISIN) of German issuers, the CFI (Classification of Financial Instruments – ISO 10962) and the FISN (Financial Instrument Short Name – ISO 18774) for all types of financial instruments.
