LEI Application Fee Adjustment on April 1, 2015, Due to Exchange Rate Fluctuations

The fee for an LEI application or renewal includes a contribution fee in the amount of $ 20 paid to the Global LEI Foundation (GLEIF). The Foundation coordinates and monitors the Global LEI System (GLEIS).

Since the contribution fee is set in US dollars and due to significant recent exchange rate changes, the fee in euros (= EUR 15) had to be adjusted.

On April 1, 2015, the “Charge for the Global LEI System” was increased by EUR 3.50 per GEI. In the future, the fee amount will be reviewed every three months to account for any further exchange rate changes. For more information, please refer to the current list of prices.
